This site is for people interested in American Helicopter magazine as well as general aviation intrests. I have been collecting American Helicopter magazines since about 1980. I started scanning the magazines that I have and putting them up on this site. I have started at Dec 1945, Vol 1 No 1 and work my way through the years. I have the covers of most issues scanned and put up on this site. The magazine was first published in Dec 1945 and continued until April of 1960, which was the last issue. There were no issues published for February or March of 1960.

This will be a long ongoing project, working on it as I get the time. If you would like to see something from a certain issue or year, let me know and I will see what I can do.

This website, although named American Helicopter, will have photos and info of all types of aircraft on it. Got a nice photo or something that might fit nicely with the content on this site? Send me your helicopter or airplane photos, articles, old ads or whatever you have and I will see about putting them up on the site for all to enjoy.
